The threat for scattered showers and even a rumble or two of thunder continues for the rest of Friday, but forecasters say drier, warmer weather is on its way for the weekend. Saturday is forecast to be sunny and mild, with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the upper 40s. The warm temperatures will continue Sunday, but forecasters predict the possibility of isolated showers late in the evening into Monday.
