Here’s what to expect from the weather this week
“Quick shot of rain coming through late Tuesday/early Wednesday."
The average high temperature is 60 degrees this time of year, and the middle to end of the week will be just slightly above that, according to WBZ meteorologist Terry Eliasen.

Aside from the slightly above average temperatures, Boston could see between ¼ to ½ inch of rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. The rain is “likely” to start before 7 p.m. Tuesday.
“Quick shot of rain coming through late Tuesday/early Wednesday,” Eliasen said.

On Wednesday, rain is again “likely” before 7 a.m.; that then drops to a “chance of showers” between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to the service. Skies are forecast to clear Wednesday night and then sun is expected Thursday, with Friday predicted to be “mostly sunny.”
“Wettest Tuesday night and chilliest next weekend,” Barry Burbank, a meteorologist with WBZ, said in his seven-day forecast.
