‘What a week ahead’: Here’s a look at Boston’s weather this week
“A lot of the time, September can be a nice month for the beach."
This week is stacking up to be “a nice stretch of weather,” according to the National Weather Service. And perhaps it isn’t time to pack away those summer clothes just yet.Tuesday through Thursday are set to be cooler, Hayden Frank, a meteorologist with the service, said. The service puts high temperatures Tuesday through Thursday in the mid-to-high 60s.“It looks like a real quiet and dry stretch of weather, fortunately,” Frank said.By Friday, temperatures should “be well into the 70s,” according to Frank. And for the weekend, the Boston area is predicted to see temperatures in the upper 70s to mid-80s.“It could happen even on the coast,” he said. For those headed to the beach, Frank noted that people should be mindful of potential high surf and rip currents. This is due to “a distant tropical system” that’s passing to the east of the state.“A lot of the time, September can be a nice month for the beach,” Frank said.
Beautiful stretch of weather ahead! After a chance of a few scattered showers Monday, no rain in the forecast through next weekend. You can expect Fall-like temperatures too, with below average high temps in the 60s Tuesday-Thursday ☀️🍂 pic.twitter.com/mXn0G6bVjw

The middle of the week will have a “definite ‘fall feel,’” Cindy Fitzgibbon, a meteorologist with WCVB, said.
