Though Monday is sunny and warm, the rest of the week could be wet at times, according to the National Weather Service.“Today’s probably the warmest day of the week,” Bill Simpson, a meteorologist with the service, said. The next few days could be wet periodically, though accumulation won’t be much of a factor — rainfall for Tuesday through Thursday should be between ½ to 1 inch. In the same vein, forecasted highs for the next few days are upper 60s or low 70s. The average temperature for this time of year is around 76 degrees, Simpson said.

The weather should improve for the weekend, according to Simpson. In fact, the service says warmer weather could be on its way next week.

“While it will be cooler than average for much of the upcoming week, next week may hold some hope for those wanting a warm up,” according to the service.
