Boston will see ‘seasonable temps’ this week, but rain is still in the forecast
Early predictions for Memorial Day weekend show temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s.
Monday’s temperatures are forecast to hit the mid 80s in Boston followed by thunderstorms across the region and then a cold front, according to the National Weather Service. But that doesn’t mean it’ll be cold. In fact, the service predicts “seasonable temps” from Tuesday through Sunday.For the rest of the week, the service predicts “dry and windy” weather on Tuesday. Matt Noyes, a meteorologist with NECN, said Wednesday is expected to be “fair and pleasant.”
Tuesday: Fresh air, bright & breezy. Highs near 70. West-northwest 10-20 mph.
Wednesday: Fair and pleasant. Highs in the 60s to around 70. Northwest wind 8-14 mph.

It could rain Thursday night into Friday, according to the service’s forecast for the week.
The Memorial Day weekend could bring more summery warmth. Mike Wankum, a WCVB meteorologist, noted the holiday weekend could have temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s. The normal high temperature for this time of year is 67.
