5 maps predicting how much snow will fall in Massachusetts
Snow is expected in the region starting late Monday into Tuesday.
Massachusetts is in for a “busy” weather pattern this week, according to the National Weather Service. Light snow is forecast to begin falling in the Bay State late Monday night, changing to rain on Tuesday before changing back to snow during the evening into Wednesday.

“Expect and plan for hazardous travel conditions for the Tuesday AM commute with reduced visibility and some slick road conditions, especially [northern and western Massachusetts],” service meteorologists said.

The service is predicting that the Berkshires will see the highest accumulations, at around 2 inches, while areas closer to the coast are forecast to see just a coating. Below are five maps predicting the upcoming snowfall totals for Massachusetts from local meteorologists.
