Yes, you may see the first accumulating snowfall of the season Thursday night.
Meteorologist David Epstein says snow will start falling in the Boston area just after the evening commute.
“There may be a few snow showers before that time, but the bulk of the accumulation will occur between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m.,” he wrote for Boston.com.
The precipitation is gradually expected to change to rain near the coast before skies clear for the weekend.
“In Greater Boston, we’ll see a period of steady rain Friday morning before clearing moves in for Friday night,” Epstein wrote.
