Here’s what the National Weather Service is saying about the possibility of a little snow Monday morning
"Fast moving low pressure may bring a period of snow to the region Monday morning."
Unfortunately this is no April Fools’ joke.
The National Weather Service said early Saturday that Southern New England may see a bit of snow Monday morning.
The service’s Massachusetts office posted a map showing the chances areas will see at least an inch of snow that morning.

“While the greatest threat for accumulating snow Monday morning will be to our southwest, there is the potential for portions of [Southern New England] to be impacted depending on the track of the system,” the service said in the accompanying tweet. “Greatest risk will be near the south coast.”
Despite Saturday’s sunny, spring-like weather, service forecasters said Friday it “looks like winter may go into extra innings next week and weekend with a 70 percent chance of below normal temperatures and 40 percent probability of above normal [precipitation].”
