Here’s the timeline for when the winter storm will end in Massachusetts
The National Weather Service says impacts from the nor'easter are expected to continue through the day Tuesday.

For the third time in less than two weeks, New England is getting hit by a nor’easter.
The National Weather Service forecasts that Boston could see a foot or more of snow from the storm, which is expected to bring blizzard conditions and high winds to Eastern Massachusetts.
Service forecasters said the the snow will be heaviest in southeastern Massachusetts, which could see 2 feet of accumulation.
“[The] nor’easter will be impacting the region this morning, lasting through much of the day,” the service said on Facebook Tuesday morning. “Expect very hazardous travel conditions, especially within the next few hours.”
Precipitation began around midnight and is forecast to continue through late Tuesday, according to the service.

Forecasters say there will be a risk of minor coastal flooding with high tide Tuesday morning, and the “brunt” of high winds from the storm will occur early in the day and continue through mid-afternoon. Heavy snowfall, with rates of 1 to 3 inches an hour, is expected across Southern New England through early Tuesday afternoon.
“Strongest winds will be across the Cape & Islands as well as the eastern [Massachusetts] coast,” the service said Tuesday morning. “Area of concern is across Cape and Islands where heavy wet snow along with strong, damaging winds could lead to downed trees and power outages.”
