Updated: What meteorologists are saying about the snowstorm later this week
"A good chance of 4 to 6 inches or more of snow to the region."
Ice wreaked havoc on roads in the Greater Boston area Monday night and Tuesday morning, and that isn’t it for winter weather this week, according to local forecasters.
The National Weather Service predicts that a winter storm could hit at the end of the week with a considerable amount of snow.
“There is growing confidence in a plowable snowfall event for Thursday into Friday,” the service said on Twitter. It’s issued a winter storm watch across most of Massachusetts and all of Connecticut and Rhode Island.
