Map: Here’s how much snow to expect in Massachusetts on Saturday
"Little, if any snowfall, is expected north of the Mass Pike," according to the National Weather Service.
Some Massachusetts residents will have more than just the bitter cold to contend with Saturday.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Cape Cod and the Islands, as well as Block Island, for Saturday afternoon and night with now 2-6 inches of snow expected in those areas.
“Light snow will develop later [Saturday] morning, and should be done after midnight Sunday,” the service said on Facebook early Saturday morning. “With the low pressure remaining well offshore, the greatest snowfall will be towards the south coast of New England. Little, if any snowfall, is expected north of the Mass Pike.”
