Here’s how much rain you’re expected to get this weekend

The rain-soaked weekend forecast has already nixed two popular Mother’s Day events in Boston, but just how much rain is going to fall?

The National Weather Service posted its most recent rainfall map Saturday afternoon, which has eastern Massachusetts looking at more than an inch of rain.

According to the service, the rain will hit Boston Saturday evening and continue through Sunday night, with showers likely on Monday as well.
