Maps: The most, least, and likeliest snowfall predictions for Friday
Despite recent spring-like temperatures, winter in Boston isn’t over just yet.A snowstorm arriving in the region early Friday morning could bring up to three inches to Boston and even more of the white stuff to Cape Cod and the Islands.The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for southeastern Massachusetts and a winter storm warning for Cape Cod and the Islands.

The snow is expected to stop falling by Friday evening, according to the forecast as of Thursday afternoon.
Here are the service’s three scenarios for total accumulation by 7 p.m. Friday: most likely, best case, and worst case (which assumes you don’t like snow in March).



The service is predicting mostly sunny skies Saturday with a high near 23 in Boston and more sun Sunday with a high near 27.
