Here’s what 3 feet of snow looks like in Maine right now
A powerful blizzard has left some Mainers shoveling out from three feet of snow, with more expected to hit the state later this week.
Parts of southern Maine were hit the hardest, with four towns in Penobscot County – Hudson, Bradford, Kenduskeag, and Glenburg – reporting 40 inches of snowfall, according to National Weather Service Caribou. And it’s not over yet: Another winter storm on Wednesday is expected to drop an additional 8-12 inches on the state, with winds reaching 35 mph.
