Up to 6 inches of snow expected Saturday

Drive carefully Saturday. Some areas of Massachusetts could get up to six inches of snow, beginning early in the day, forecasters said. A flash freeze is also possible in the Boston area that could turn roads into skating rinks.

The National Weather Service said snow would begin around daybreak and fall, sometimes heavily, through the morning.

Four to six inches are expected in western, central, and interior northeastern portions of the state.
