The Boston area is in for a rainy, chilly Friday, with showers overnight expected to continue throughout the day. Temperatures will peak in the mid-40s and drop down to the mid-30s at night.

The sun comes out Saturday, with temps climbing to 56, but more rain closes out the weekend Sunday afternoon and carries into next week.
