It looks like a dry and seasonably cool Christmas Eve is on the horizon, with highs in the low 40s.  Ten mile-per-hour winds with 25 mile-per-hour gusts are expected along the coast until evening, and could bring down temperatures by five or ten degrees. Santa Claus will need his warm ensemble flying over Greater Boston on Tuesday night, considering temperatures are expected to drop into the mid 20s and low 30s.
