Here’s what to expect from your Halloween weather forecast
Your main concern Thursday night isn't rain -- it's wind.
If your Halloween costume happens to include a raincoat, you’re in luck. The Boston area will see showers throughout Thursday, with semi muggy conditions and temperatures nearing 70 degrees. While you’ll still see precipitation through the night, the showers are expected to let up a bit after sundown. In fact, the biggest weather concern for Boston trick-or-treaters isn’t rain — it’s wind. Strong to damaging gusts traveling at upwards of 40 miles per hour are possible, and the National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch for the area. On the bright side, you won’t find yourself shivering through it all. The day’s mild temperatures will stick around in the evening.
