Here’s what to expect from Friday’s weather forecast

This Friday the 13th forecast brings no sign of bad luck.

Summer sunshine without the season’s heat? Sounds like a win-win. High pressure enters New England on Friday, meaning dry skies and abundant sunshine. Meanwhile, northeast winds in Eastern Massachusetts will take care of the heat — high temperatures are expected to sit in the 60’s. It will likely be a blustery day for those in Southeast Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and the Islands, with northeast winds blowing at up to 20 and 25 miles per hour. At night, those winds will shift from northeast to east and ease off a bit while temperatures dip into the upper 40’s and mid 50’s.
