With the exception of a spot shower here or there, it will remain dry across New England until the weekend. Low clouds and fog may await Thursday morning commuters, but the National Weather Service predicts sunshine to burn through by the afternoon. The rest of the day continues with partly sunny skies, as well as potential afternoon spot showers in interior southern New England. High temperatures could get into the 70’s on Massachusetts’s immediate coast and the Cape, while reaching the upper 70’s and low 80’s further inland. Low clouds and fog patches could return at night over Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, along with a potential drizzle.
