Here’s what to expect from Thursday’s weather forecast
A dry, cooler day is ahead.
Remnants of Wednesday’s downpours could linger into early Thursday morning, specifically in eastern New England. But drier air is on its way. According to the National Weather Service forecast, a cold front will hang over Cape Cod on Thursday, allowing cooler, dry conditions to move into southern New England. With high temperatures in the 80’s and sea breezes cropping up, the day will feel more comfortable than earlier in the week. Low temperatures will hit the 60’s for most of the region during a dry evening with light wind.
