Here’s what to expect from Wednesday’s weather forecast
Yesterday's heat advisory will extend to Wednesday evening for eastern Massachusetts.
A cold front is approaching New England, and its presence will bring an increased chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms around the region on Wednesday. The National Weather Service notes that the potential afternoon and evening downpour is “overall looking like a generally subsevere event, with a few isolated severe storms possible.” The day won’t be quite as hot or as humid as the first half of the week, but yesterday’s heat advisory has been extended through 8 p.m. on Wednesday for eastern Massachusetts. Temperatures should reach the low 90’s, although those in areas under advisory could see the day’s high temperature peak between 95 and 100 degrees.
