Here’s what to expect from Tuesday’s weather forecast
Monday's mugginess isn't going anywhere.
New England won’t be granted a reprieve from heat and humidity just yet. While Tuesday’s weather should come with brisk southwest winds, the heat beating down from the region’s sunny skies will bring along a heat advisory, in place until 8 p.m. There is some chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, especially in western and central Massachusetts and Connecticut, but the National Weather Service doesn’t foresee any precipitation becoming severe. The humidity continues through Tuesday night, with low temperatures between 60 and 70 degrees.
