Here’s what to expect from Wednesday’s weather forecast
Thunderstorms and rainfall are expected from the Mass. Pike southward.
A recipe of one approaching cold front and the remnants of Tropical Storm Barry will result in showers, thunderstorms, and locally heavy rainfall for New England starting Wednesday afternoon. The National Weather Service expects scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop in the afternoon and evening, although the main threat will be strong localized wind gusts which could be damaging. While the thunderstorm threat will decrease later Wednesday evening, concerns over heavy rainfall and localized flooding will continue. Wednesday’s high temperatures are expected to hit the upper 80s to near 90.
