Here’s what to expect for the Fourth of July weather
There's no need to worry about rain this Independence Day.
High pressure will sit over southern New England for much of Thursday, meaning a warm, humid Fourth of July. Inland, the day’s highs will be in the upper 80s and low 90s. The National Weather Service forecasts sea breezes between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., bringing coastal high temperatures down to between 75 and 80 degrees. In the evening, temperatures and dew points will rest in the 60s. Because of this, the service said it will be “difficult to call it dry,” but it should be rain-free.
