Here’s what to expect from Thursday’s weather forecast
It's going to be a wet one.
Thursday’s forecast includes rain, rain, and more rain. The precipitation starts in the morning, with moderate to heavy levels of rainfall lasting between three and six hours. During the afternoon, rain will diminish from the south moving north. Most of the region can expect 0.25 to 0.75 inches of rain, but with an anticipated 1 to 1.5 inches, Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts will likely get the brunt of the downpours. Temperatures are predicted to get into the upper 50s and low 60s by mid-morning, but settle into the mid-50s with the rain. While there is a possibility of some scattered showers in the evening, most of the night should be met with dry conditions.
