Here’s what to expect from Wednesday’s weather forecast
It's thunderstorm time.
Don’t be fooled by Wednesday morning’s dry weather — storms are coming for New England. Still, the day is expected to start on a warm note. Although the National Weather Service doesn’t know just how far north an incoming warm front will reach, it expects southern New England will see highs that almost reach 80 degrees. With those warm temperatures, however, comes a rise in humidity. The service predicts that relative humidity in the region will double from Tuesday to Wednesday. Thunderstorms will begin in the evening and continue into early Thursday. While the NWS noted the upcoming precipitation looks like “mostly nuisance thunderstorms right now,” there is a small chance for some severe storms.
