Highs will reach 45 to 50 degrees, which, as the National Weather Service points out, is 20 degrees cooler than the normal 65- to 70-degree temperatures expected in mid-May. The service expects that Tuesday will start with rain, with the possibility of spotty showers in the afternoon. Another round of showers is possible late in the day.
