Commuters may encounter some wet roads Friday morning. Forecasters with the National Weather Service are predicting a dry and pleasant Thursday, but showers are expected overnight, bringing cooler temperatures early Friday. “Damp roadways possible for the Friday morning commute,” the meteorologists said in a Tweet.

According to the service’s seven day forecast for Boston, the city will see scattered showers largely between 1 and 7 a.m. Friday morning.
