Yes, weather forecasting gets much more accurate the closer you get. But with thousands of runners — and many more spectators — itching to get a peek at the Marathon Monday forecast, here’s a super early look now that it’s in the seven-day window.

National Weather Service: “Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. West wind 9 to 13 mph.”

WCVB’s Cindy Fitzgibbon: “Drying out over the weekend.”

7News’s Chris Lambert: “Right now, it looks like we’ll be back into the low to mid 60s with dry conditions prevailing. So we got the great weather for the solar eclipse yesterday, great weather at Fenway Park for the home opener, will we make it a trifecta on Monday too? Right now, it looks that way.”
