It’s a fall New England staple: a massive cranberry harvest and festival, happening this weekend in Wareham.
It’s the 13th anniversary of the festival, which takes place at the A.D. Makepeace Company’s farms Saturday and Sunday.
Attendees can watch the cranberries be harvested from Frogfoot bog, tour the bog via paddleboat or tractor, and (for the first time) even get in the bog themselves and harvest some berries.
The festival features cooking demonstrations, a marketplace, and helicopter rides of the farm.
Admission is $10, $5 for seniors and military, and free for children under 7.
