BU coach under fire for bullying accusations
Boston University has launched an investigation into the coaching performance of women’s basketball coach Kelly Greenberg after several players accused the coach of emotional abuse, the Globe reports.
Four players walked away from $60,000-a-year scholarships during this academic year, with one player saying she felt so emotionally damaged by her coach that she considered suicide, according to the report. From the story:

Greenburg declined comment to the Globe for the story. BU finished the season with a depleted roster of nine players and a 13-20 record. Dionna Joynes, one of the players who left, told the Globe:

The 46-year-old Greenberg became the subject of a Globe story in 2008, when two scholarship players walked off the team after complaining of similar mistreatment.
