BU student in hospital after beating near campus
BOSTON
A Boston University sophomore is in the hospital after an attack near the campus early Saturday morning, according to police.
Officers from the Boston Police Department responded to a report of a fight at 2:50 a.m. at the corner Beacon Street and Park Drive, where the male student was allegedly attacked by three individuals. The assailants had been driving around the area in a dark four-door vehicle, police said.
Witnesses observed three men punching and kicking the victim and then fleeing in their car.
No arrests have been made. The victim was treated on the scene and then taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
