‘The Judge’ comes to BU
The Robert Downey Jr. movie “The Judge’’ filmed at Boston University’s Agganis Arena on Tuesday. We assume that the local project is what’s keeping actress Leighton Meester out of the “Veronica Mars’’ film. Meester was cast in “The Judge’’ in April. The “Veronica Mars’’ movie, which is a spinoff from the television show, came together quickly after a Kickstarter campaign in March. It started filming on the West Coast in June.
