BC students walk ‘The Last 5’

Hundreds of Boston College students took part in a student-led symbolic finishing of the Boston Marathon, called “The Last 5,” around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir.

Students met at Boston College’s lower campus before the event.

From there, they walked to the nearby Chestnut Hill Reservoir to complete the five miles.

Danielle Cole and Michael Padulsky led the walk – they were unable to finish the Boston Marathon because of the bombings.

T-shirts were sold for the walk to raise money for BC graduate students and alumnus who were injured.
