‘Entourage’ film a go
It’s official: “Entourage’’ is coming to the big screen. Deadline.com reports that the movie version of the popular HBO series executive produced by Mark Wahlberg has been given the green light by Warner Bros. The film will be directed by the show’s creator, Doug Ellin, who’ll also produce with Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson. It will star the cast of the show — Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon, and Jeremy Piven. A few months ago, while he was still writing the script, Ellin told us the movie would be like the early seasons of the TV show, and not like the soap opera it eventually became.
