Dunkin’ Donuts looks to get an early jump on the holiday spirit
One way to tell that the holidays are only several fortnights away is the outbreak of Christmas decorations in retailers’ windows. Consulting the seasonal menu at Dunkin’ Donuts can also serve as an early-warning system for the imminence of Yuletide cheer.
To jump-start the holiday mood, the Canton-based coffee-and-baked-goods chain said that participating restaurants are starting to offer such items as Gingerbread Latte, Peppermint Mocha Coffee, and Red Velvet Munchkins.
Then there’s the Holiday Star Donut, a star-shaped sinker filled with Bavarian creme and topped with green icing and white star sprinkles.

The chain added that it is welcoming back the the Smoked Sausage Breakfast Sandwich.
Limited-edition holiday ornaments are also available as are Dunkin’ Donuts branded tumblers.
