Actor Matthew Fox spoofs Mitt Romney with “Dockers of Destiny’’ trailer
Actor Matthew Fox is supposedly coming out with a biopic about Mitt Romney and his love affair not with his wife, Ann, but Dockers pants.
A trailer for the spoof was unveiled earlier today on ABC-TV’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,’’ when Fox visited to promote his new movie, “Alex Cross.’’
Fox deadpanned to Kimmel: “I like playing things that are based on real people, so I find myself attracted to that stuff.’’
In reality, it’s not an allegiance to Dockers khaki pants that has prompted jokes about the Republican presidential nominee’s straight-laced image.
Rather, it’s been Romney’s preference for Gap jeans that fueled talk of an image change, after he abandoned the business suits he wore throughout his first bid for the presidency in 2008.
