Governor Patrick greets new US citizens
Governor Deval Patrick congratulated 22 new US citizens at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge on Saturday, at the first naturalization ceremony held in Berkshire County in a decade, a spokeswoman said. The new citizens, who come from 16 countries, took the oath in front of Rockwell’s famous “Four Freedoms’’ series of paintings, which depict human rights described in President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s 1941 State of the Union address.
