Teenager shot in broad daylight on Dorchester street; expected to survive

A 17-year-old male was shot in the leg this afternoon on a Dorchester street, but the injuries did not appear life-threatening, police said.

The teen was shot at 2:30 p.m. outside 703 Washington St. and was taken to Children’s Hospital.

Police said the boy was uncooperative when questioned by investigators. No one else was hit by the gunfire.

No arrests have been made.
