Man riding bicycle shot in Dorchester and has life-threatening injuries
A man riding a bicycle was shot several times on a Dorchester street early this afternoon and has suffered life-threatening injures, Boston police said.
Boston police said a 30-year-old man was shot outside 14 Josephine St. about 12:30 p.m. He was rushed to Boston Medical Center.
Authorities said one of the bullets hit a car window in the area.
Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis was on the scene conferring with investigators.
