Deval Patrick talks JFK in Charlotte
The day after delivering a rousing speech at the Democratic National Convention, Governor Deval Patrick stayed in Charlotte for a panel commemorating the 50th anniversary of the John F. Kennedy administration. Also taking part in the chat moderated by David Gregory were Facebook cofounder Chris Hughes, Democratic strategist Maria Cardona, and New York Times columnist Matt Bai. The well-connected crowd included Caroline Kennedy, JFK Library executive director Tom McNaught, Vicki Kennedy, Bank of America’s Anne Finucane, JFK Library Foundation board member Carol Fulp, and state Treasurer Steve Grossman.
