Three men arrested after armed robberies in Brookline
Three men were arrested in connection with two armed robberies in Brookline early today, police said.
At about 3 a.m., a person reported being robbed at knifepoint in the area of Beacon Street near the MBTA’s Brandon Hall Station, police said in a statement. A second robbery and victim were later identified; no details were immediately available on the second crime.
Police said Tarenzo Richardson, 18; Deandre Robinson, 19; and Gerald Daughtry, 20; all of Roxbury, were charged with two counts of armed robbery. Robinson was also charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license, Brookline police said in a statement.
The suspects are to be arraigned today in Brookline District Court.
An investigation is ongoing.
