Pats tight end Rob Gronkowski made a surprise appearance at this weekend’s party at the InterContinental Boston to mark the 25th anniversary of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Foundation chairman Steve Barnes and CEO Charlotte Beattie awarded the organization’s Wish Hero Award to Pats owner Robert Kraft and his sons Dan, David, Joshua, and Jonathan for their work in granting wishes to children throughout the country. Gronk appeared on stage at one point and auctioned off his Pats jersey, raising $13,000 in the process.
