Arrest made in stabbing death of 67-year-old Barbara Coyne, of South Boston
Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal stabbing of a 67-year-old South Boston woman that occurred April 16.
Timothy Kostka, 26, also of South Boston, has been charged with stabbing Barbara Coyne in her Seventh Street home, Boston police said today.
No obvious signs of forced entry into Coyne’s home were found, said police at the time of the killing. Coyne was discovered on the first floor at around 10 a.m. April 16. She was later pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center.
No further information was readily available regarding Kostka’s arrest, authorities said.
