Emily Blunt in Boston for ‘Salmon’; Oprah Winfrey on her way
Oprah Winfrey was on the West Coast for the Oscars last night, but she should be on her way to Massachusetts to join Lady Gaga at the celebration for Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation at Harvard. … Oprah should be right behind actress Emily Blunt, who, after appearing at some Oscar-related events, is scheduled to attend tonight’s Boston screening of her upcoming movie, “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.’’ … Boston’s Mark Wahlberg wasn’t at the Oscars, probably because he was preparing for today’s German premiere of his action movie “Contraband.’’ Last week Wahlberg claimed he knew who’d be winning all of the big Oscars because a friend at PricewaterhouseCoopers disclosed the results. Wahlberg was right about all the main categories except for Best Actress, which he said would go to Rhode Island’s Viola Davis. The award went to Meryl Streep.
