Jason Segel will be here all week, folks
Funny guy Jason Segel says he’s spending his entire week in Boston — even though he’s not getting his Hasty Pudding Man of the Year award in Cambridge until Friday. Segel, who has relatives in Newton, tweeted this morning, “On my way to Boston for the week. I’m getting the Hasty Pudding award at Harvard. My whole family is coming. I’m very excited and grateful.’’ He added, “Though I’m pretty sure my family thinks its an actual degree.’’ Segel won’t be the first superstar to bring loved ones to the Hasty Pudding Theatricals festivities. Last week, Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year recipient Claire Danes brought her husband, actor Hugh Dancy, and her dog, WeeGee. And just a few years ago, former Man of the Year Justin Timberlake brought rumored-fiance Jessica Biel.
