J. Courtney Sullivan’s ‘Maine’ makes the cut
Congrats to Milton native J. Courtney Sullivan, whose second novel, “Maine,’’ makes TIME’s Top 10 Fiction Books of 2011. (If you’re into the whole dysfunctional-Boston-Irish-family-saga genre, this is the book for you.) Others on the list include Ann Patchett’s “State of Wonder,’’ Kate Atkinson’s “Started Early, Took My Dog,’’ and Daniel Clowes’s graphic novel “The Death Ray.’’
