One killed in Charlestown shooting

Boston police are investigating the fatal shooting Tuesday of a man in Charlestown.

At 5:30 p.m., police found a black male in his 20s at 116 Bunker Hill St. suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was soon pronounced dead, police said.

Detectives have thus far been unable to identify the victim, police said.

There have been no arrests made at this time. Police are asking anyone with information to call the homicide unit at 617-343-4470.
