Aerosmith rallying around Steven Tyler
Is it possible that Steven Tyler’s injury is bringing Aerosmith closer together? That’s what we’re hearing from a source close to the famously fractious band. We’re also told Tyler didn’t fall just once, he fell three times – twice in his hotel and a third time in the ambulance, and he received stitches above his eye and inside his mouth. (We’re told the 63-year-old singer was given an MRI and a CT scan at the hospital.) The falls, which the singer has said were caused by dehydration due to food poisoning, forced the band to postpone by a day its first-ever show in Paraguay. Publicly, his bandmates have praised Tyler for bouncing back so quickly, and privately they’re no less impressed, calling the frontman a “real trooper’’ for taking the stage while bruised and battered.
